Friday the 13th, 12:15 AM...plans go awry. I was expecting some things of this trip not to work out...but I did not think it would happen so soon. Adam and I checked in with Delta online and discovered that our seats from Atlanta to Zuerich had been changed from right next to each other to nearly opposite ends of the plane! Later at the airport, no one with Delta in Nashville or Atlanta could tell us whether we would be able to sit next to each other for the 9 hour flight. Luckily, I was randomly reassigned to a window seat, which is prime retail space to other passengers. A gentleman with a seat next to Adam offered to switch his middle of the plane seat for my window seat, yay! Other than that, things have been going pretty smoothly. I even managed to sleep on the plane quite a bit.
