Europe is a week away!

Butterflies filled my stomach this morning during my German class's oral exam. The exam was nothing more than the GER 202 class sitting around discussing different German-speaking cities, so it was not the exam that putting flutters in my stomach. The butterflies came from the sudden realization that in one week, I will be in Europe! The next month and a half has been a long time in the making. In one week, the hard work and time I have put into figuring out study abroad and planning a personal trip will prove itself to be more than worth the effort.
Am I excited? Of course! But I am also a little nervous. I've been studying German since my first year of high school and visited Germany a couple years ago, so I am not nervous about language barriers or culture shock. However, I am nervous about my plans for the personal trip for my boyfriend Adam and me...I hope everything goes at least somewhat smoothly! I am nervous about getting homesick...I'm sure I'll be on Skype as much as I can. I'm nervous about forgetting something!!! I need to start making lists...
People ask me if I am backpacking across Europe...well I'll be wearing a backpacking pack (thanks Bruce and Mtn Challenge!) Does that count? Anyway...Here is the itinerary I'll be following in one week!
