I left Charlotte and northwestern Germany about 10 am...
Traveling on my own was a bit scary at first, but I quickly became comfortable with it. This was such a long day! Here I am playing with my camera, trying not to doze off!
The bus left me here, in Oey. The bus driver didn't leave me though, until he had asked if I had a taxi, or realized that it was a 30 minute walk! (When I got on the bus, he guessed I was going to Our Chalet...am I that obviously a Girl Scout?) Our Chalet is up in those hills somewhere...The hike up the mountain wasn't so bad...and the view was great!
Found it!
And I made it just in time for CRAFTS!!! Yay!
I made a couple of roses out of double sided crepe paper (I think that's what it was called). It was awesome! I can't wait to share this craft with Girl Scouts in the States (If Mrs. Cindy doesn't know it already!) I hope I can find the special craft paper.
After crafts I got the chance to get online and do some laundry. When I was finished, I walked outside from the older Chalet to the newer one where my room was...between the two I stopped, astounded by the quiet! It was a beautiful night! There were a few glowing lights coming from the valley, but other than that everything was so dark! and so silent! It was the kind of quiet you can only hear otherwise in the depth of a cave or something. I guess all the ding-a-lingin' cows were asleep!
Though just after the screen test you may feel one actor to be the best match for your movie, it is always advisable not to make any commitment about film casting just at that stage. Bus charter Austria
